Job Description

As an Account Manager, your daily role and main responsibility will be to ensure operational success for our customers. The Account Manager leads the account on all matters of execution and support.  The Account Manager is responsible for the management of specified customer accounts including account service, project management, and financial accountability for retention. The Account Manager will be the first contact for all customer requests and will have relationships with important customer operational stakeholders to ensure that ongoing tasks are completed. They should be attentive to detail, display high energy and resourcefulness, as well as being customer friendly.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Operational Execution: Act as an ambassador internally and externally. Oversee flawless execution of operations and delivery of Fideo responsibilities related to terms of service. Onboard the customer with a white glove approach.
  • Planning: Contribute to Strategic Planning. Be a project manager with relation to proofs-of-concept, tests and/or complex implementations.  This includes scheduling meetings, compiling/distributing notes, tracking action items, ensuring follow-through on milestone deliverables, etc.
  • Coordination and Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, product and engineering, to gather relevant information, ensure accuracy, and incorporate input from subject matter experts. Work with senior team members on development and management of a profitable account plan.
  • Mission and Solution Driven: Understand the customer’s mission to combat fraud and help map the Fideo products to how those problems can be solved. Maintain effective communication with the customer to ensure they are getting the most out of our products and offer recommendations as the customer mission or available Fideo products evolve.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records related to customer proposals, contracts, communications, plans and financials.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Keep senior management accurately informed regarding customer satisfaction. Contribute new concept ideas that enhance Fideo’s ongoing service of the customer. Creatively and proactively provide solutions to client business issues and challenges.
  • Manage Risk: Assess risk for each customer, identifying potential challenges, mitigation strategies, and contingency plans. Collaborate with legal regarding contractual requirements to minimize risks and ensure compliance.
  • Relentlessly Deliver and Improve: 
    • Stay updated on the customer’s industry and regulatory changes. 
    • Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of our delivery. 
    • Support gathering of feature requirements and refinement including stakeholder interviews (and any required gap analysis), gathering and organizing supporting information, analyzing data and summarize findings for our product team; may function as a stakeholder proxy both authoring and validating acceptance criteria.
  • Culture: Provide leadership with respect to the Fideo culture and abide by Fideo’s values.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 4+ years of proven experience in supporting customer relationships within a specific industry or market segment
  • Possess strong planning, project management, communication and executional skills
  • The ability to interface and communicate with the client
  • The ability to meet or exceed client expectations in the area of account management
  • Should have high standards, a strong work ethic and be ability to function autonomously, while retaining team membership and spirit
  • Thorough and accurate ability to communicate
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong organizational skills
  • 10% Travel Requirement
  • Must be comfortable working remotely
